We brought Burgundy from Idaho to Maine in the spring of 2018.

She is a Cod red preservation Saqlawiyah Jidraniyah mare of the Tahawi where only 5 other breed age mares exist.  She had a colt in 2004 that passed.  Since she has been with us she has had two more colts Kismets Pinot Noir and Kismets Shiraz and finally gave us a daughter Kismets Sameeha.   Prior to coming to us she was a trail horse logging in around 7K miles in the mountains of Idaho with her owner who graciously retired her so that we can preserve her rare bloodlines.  She has been a wonderful mother and produces Solid citizen with excellent conformation.
